The mountain trail, known as the "Yudo promenade," is a perfect adventure for the whole family. We enjoyed the 2km walk leading to Jigokudani, observing the natural appearance of the monkeys. They were so fluffy and cute, showing off their playful behavior and friendly grooming. The spacious porch served as an ideal secret base for our children to play and let their imagination run wild.
My wife says that the ryokan could have provided more kid-friendly amenities.

The food was quite good and we appreciated the Japanese culture presented in the dishes. The indoor hot spring was relaxing and a nice escape from the cold weather outside.
The location was very inconvenient and hard to find. We had to walk quite a distance to get to the hotel, which was not ideal after a long day of sightseeing.

I recently stayed at a hotel near the Snow Monkey park and it was amazing! The hotel was very clean and had great facilities, including a private onsen. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Additionally, the location to the Snow Monkey park was perfect - just a short walk away!
Nothing bad to say.

This ryokan is an excellent choice for a luxurious and relaxing stay. The location is convenient for those who want to explore the old Onsen district and be close to the park entrance. The private onsen offered in some rooms provides a unique and enjoyable experience. The dinner and breakfast menus are delicious and beautifully presented. The personalized attention and care provided by the staff create a positive and unforgettable experience.
While the ryokan provides comfortable and exquisite rooms, some may find the pricing to be on the higher end.

We stayed at a beautiful traditional Japanese ryokan near the Snow Monkey Park. The room was spacious and clean, and the futons, although initially funny-looking, were surprisingly comfortable. We had a semi outdoor onsen in our room, which added to the relaxing experience. The staff was lovely, the food was delicious, and the location was perfect for visiting the monkey park. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and amazing stay near the Snow Monkey Park.

Mind-blowing experience! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, even for our vegan and vegetarian daughters. The food was jaw-droppingly delicious with beautiful presentation. The onsen with snow and icicles was magical. The whole ryokan experience was so relaxing and immersive. The room was lavish and had all the modern amenities like free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and air conditioning. Can't wait to go back!

At Jinpyokaku, I felt like a princess, surrounded by beautiful scenery, delicious food, and excellent service. The hot spring bath was divine. I just wish they had more slopes in the mountain trail. Oh well, can't have it all.

This hotel offers an incredible Japanese experience, complete with traditional accommodation and delicious meals. the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a luxurious stay, providing private onsens and comfortable futons. the location is perfect, with nearby access to the famous snow monkeys and stunning views. Breakfast is a hearty and satisfying meal that accommodates dietary needs.
Although small, the staff could benefit from clearer communication regarding activities outside of the hotel. some rooms lack adequate heating, leaving guests feeling chilly.
